Maritza is a physics teacher at Holy Family Catholic High School in Victoria, MN.  She earned a B.S in Physics in 2008 from the Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia and completed her Masters degree in Science Education in 2013 at the University of Minnesota. Maritza became involved with the Physics Force after attending an AAPT educational conference in 2009 where she saw the Physics Force in action for the first time. She has been a presenter in the group since 2010.
